I am pretty much just down to earth. I don't really have much in common with most guys I know. (It's quite possible that I'm one of a kind.) I don't smoke or drink; in fact, I never have. I do like to watch NASCAR races, and I'm a fan of University of Louisville men's and women's basketball. As a long-time video-game collector, I often browse eBay for software titles that I just didn't buy at the time of their initial releases. (An Atari fan in particular, I own several items which bear that name or 'Atari Games' somewhere.) Lately, I've been searching for rare/import CDs on eBay. (I prefer to own a CD instead of downloading its music.) In my spare time at home, when I'm not playing my games or surfing the Internet, I'll probably be watching movies. Sometimes I'll go swimming at the city park, or I'll take a short walk around my neighborhood. I'll listen to almost any type of music, especially if it has a good 'beat' although I can't dance well. (I'd like to learn, however.) I love Michael Jackson's songs from the 1970s and '80s. I still find it hard to believe sometimes that the King of Pop is already gone. Several of my other favorite artists listed were popular then, too. I start most days with "Good Morning, America". I still watch "The Price Is Right", but I deeply miss Bob Barker as the host. Many of my favorite movies and television shows are animated, ranging from Pixar films to 'classics' by Hanna-Barbera. I like some science-fiction, especially those with superheroes; my first childhood crush was on Wonder Woman! (I despise extremely violent films and whining anime characters.) Although I love working with computers, I wouldn't classify myself a total 'geek'. I’ve dreamt of designing my own games ever since 'Santa' once brought us an Atari, which explains my fondness of that particular brand. This may sound strange, but sometimes I'm glad that I'm not already making games for a living. Today, there are just too many violent titles to suit me. (In other words, players' characters in my games wouldn't be stealing cars or training monsters to fight.) Seriously, someday I'd like to create a puzzle game or something that's educational in some way. My family and I love to travel. In recent years, we've toured Memphis, Niagara Falls, Atlantic City, and New York City. (When I was little, I began collecting road maps!) I get along well with most people. I always try to look at the 'brighter side' whenever life gets tough. It pays to have a sense of humor. Many customers say that they prefer to come through my checklane, regardless of which one it is. (I guess this means I'm doing something right!) I love meeting new people while on the job; however, I'm still looking for that 'special someone', assuming that such a young lady even exists. I seem to have a 'knack' for finding all the right ones too late; they're already married. Anybody interested in meeting a nice guy who's unlike all 'the rest' may certainly come by my store so I can likewise 'check her out'. (Please excuse my pun.)
